Truck is Rented…

Posted on Friday 29 June 2007

Or the reservation is made for the Uhaul on Saturday. I am finally…let me stress that…FINALLY getting all of my crap out of storage in Orange County! I have been paying over $100 a month since I moved back to Orange County from San Marcos, oh like 3 years ago! That’s a lot of money for nothing.

So we will finally have a table and chairs. A big table too. It’s long and has 6 chairs. I really want one of those tables that are high. I forget what they are called now. With the tall chairs. I love those, and it would fit nicely in the space we have. I hope the big table fits. I hate the upholstery on them, as they were my rich uncles who is older and then he gave it to my Mom. It’s a nice table though. I wonder how much getting 6 chairs upholstered costs?

Then I have rubbermaid tubs of the kids older toys. Plus, I don’t know what else. I know there is about 6 tubs at least. Filled with I don’t know what else, besides the toys. There is a dryer in there, which I guess we will try to sell. Then there is my sister’s Armoire that I wouldn’t give her, because she fucked me over. Now I don’t want it. Well I never wanted it, it was to take something of hers, when she took so much from me. I have no problem letting her have it back now, but I really don’t want to see her or talk to her…so I don’t know how to go about that…and it needs to be out of there by Saturday. What to do. Then there is an old antique fire extinguisher that was my Dad’s and an old antique huge jug that was my Dad’s…and belongs to my brother. Which he didn’t want it when we put it in there, due to space. So I guess I will use it in my house until he wants it. Well unless he wants them now.

Anyway, I am stoked to save all that money a month!

Friendfinder

Posted on Friday 29 June 2007

If you know me in person, you know that I am a pretty shy person when I first meet someone. I literally freeze up and don’t talk much at all, unless you talk to me. I would never initiate a conversation with someone I don’t know unless I’ve been drinking which is never, or I am in a rare outgoing mood. Once I’m comfortable though I talk a lot, and have lots to say. Oh yeah, and I’m pretty much a total weirdo when I know you. I’ve always been weird, and have done weird thing to be funny. I think it’s one of those things that Jeremy loves about me. Where else would he be able to hear things like my song without words, and see my dances I do. Anyway, I really wants some friends to hang out with and do those chick things Jeremy doesn’t want to do. Like shopping for clothes and stuff. Or go see chick flicks at the movies. I think FriendFinder is a good place for me to start, to maybe find a friend in my area. Maybe getting to know someone online first would be easier for me. Then I can just get comfortable there rather then have the awkwardness in person. The site is super easy to use, and I will be searching for my new BFF now.

365 Ideas

Posted on Friday 29 June 2007

Where is my creativity? Where did it go? It’s been gone for so long now. I think it’s actually been about 3+ months, since I had any creativity flowing through my bones. I don’t know why I decided to do the 365 again on Flickr. To set myself up for disappointment, I guess. Someone said to write down ideas for when you don’t have any…and well that’s a great idea if I had some of them in my head. Unfortunately, everyday I struggle to figure out what to do for my picture. I had one idea, and I am using that for today’s and it isn’t really working out the way I thought it would. I wish there was a website that gave you ideas on self portraits…there’s not though because I’ve looked several times. So, if you have any ideas…the whole 3 people who read my site…shoot ‘em my way. Come on! Help a chick out!

Wood Frames

Posted on Thursday 28 June 2007

If a house isn’t a timber frame house, then what is it??? Aren’t all houses framed in timber of some sort? This website has some really beautiful Oak Scissor Trusses. I LOVE that look in a home. Exposed wood beams and trusses. It looks so nice, rather then just white ceilings. I love the the metal on the beams also. I agree with them why use faux, when you can use real wood. I would definitely use this company if I were building my own home, to add some extra special features. They have great frames for your home, and it looks like they really know what they are talking about and a reputable company.

Summertime…and The Livin’s Easy

Posted on Thursday 28 June 2007

I love summertime! I love that the kids can play outside all day into the night, and when nightfalls at 9pm, I call them in. They take baths and go to sleep. Jeremy and I sat outside again for an hour or so. We watered the lawn and the doggies come out with us. They are such good dogs too, because they just stay in the yard and hang out with us. They like to roll around in the grass and chase each other and play. The temps are lovely, the grass is lovely. The kids playing with the neighborhood kids. It’s just nice…and is so different from apartment living where I was afraid of creepy people who live in apartments. So they would stay in a lot. Plus we live in the 5th safest city in California.

One of Sheldyn’s friends was inside playing, and the Mom came over. She said “You just let your kids play outside alone?” I said “Yes.” Then she said “Aren’t you afraid?”

Uh no. Why should I be? The kids play outside in the front yard at the house directly across the street and the one next to it. I can hear them while I sit in the living room, and I always keep my door open. Plus, I get up and check on them periodically…and they are coming in and out all day. At first I was a little scared, but over time, I’m not scared at all. Plus, I think it’s different then just sending my 6 year old daughter outside alone. She’s with her big brother, and they play with kids who are from 4-8, so it’s not like my little girl is out there playing with a bunch of older kids who are roaming the neighborhood.

Police CD

Posted on Thursday 28 June 2007

So, on June 5th did you rush out and get the new Police CD? If not you totally should run out and get it!!! It is so great! Plus, it comes with a vintage poster!

If you follow link to the banner up above it has a bunch of cool features. You can watch video’s of the Police, See the track list and listen to selected songs. I’m listening to “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic”, right now. You can check tour dates, enter the contest, grand prize being a trip to New York City to see The Police live at Madison Square Gardens, Get some ringtones, and send it to a friend.

Jeremy got it for me shortly after it came out and it’s got all the great songs on it that you will love. The reason I love The Police so much is because it takes me back to when I was a kid. Especially all the songs on it from the 80’s. I think I was one of the last generations to really get to grow up in the 80’s, and remember it. I think it would have been better to be a teenager in the 80’s though. Then I would have gotten to actually see The Police live in concert…without having to pay a huge load of money. There is no way I could afford to go see them today, with how much tickets go for now days. Even if I had the money, it is so hard to get tickets for concerts with the internet and all. I do have the CD though, and I can listen to that and sing alone and it’s the next best thing. So go out and get the CD! Seriously, you will not be disappointed!!!

My face looks rough and harsh, which I’m sure it looks in person. Also from the nose down, all I see is my Mom. Which I don’t like at all. Does anyone else do that? You look in the mirror and all you see is your Mom staring back at you? Do you hate it as much as I do? Even when I was getting along with my Mom, I hated it. I wish I looked like my Dad.

Car Parts

Posted on Wednesday 27 June 2007

Jeremy really needs to get working on his car, that has been sitting since I met him! He has a 1956 Oldsmobile. When I first met him, it was at his friends auto body shop waiting to get painted. Then he finally went there and did the sanding and all that good stuff to it, and then it got painted. Then he finally moved it to the house. Then it sat in the driveway forever, until the City sent him a notice stating he needed to move it out of the driveway, so then it went to the garage. Now it has sat there since the time I practically moved in. He really needs to start working on it. It’s got a pretty paint job just collecting dust in the garage, and it would be one thing checked off of his list of things to do. If he just worked on it. God know with it being 51 years old it needs lots of aftermarket car accessories. I know he’s got his eye on some headlight bezels on eBay, but he told me that he wants those for his birthday because they are $90 a piece. So, maybe he can get a good deal on eBay and get them cheaper. I dunno.
