One of the countless things that piss me the hell off about people is this…

Ebay. So, I win something on eBay. I always, always pay immediately. Like I win, and then I pay. I think at that point the person should leave me feedback. I refuse to leave feedback for anyone who doesn’t leave me any first…because seriously, I did my job. I won and paid. Time for my feedback. When your job is done, i.e. you’ve shipped my product and it’s arrived, then I will leave you feedback.

I have 13 feedbacks. I would like more you know, and I know I’ve won close to 20.

Why are people so stupid? Why can’t the world be filled with people like Jeremy & I? Why god, why?

So, last week was my first week with The Grocery Game.

It went like this:

*Total off the shelf price: $191.00

*Out Of Pocket: $103.00

*Saved: $88.00 (46%)

This weekend I printed my lists and did my shopping with Jeremy, and here is my breakdown:

*Total off the shelf price: $494.00

*Out Of Pocket: $231.00

*Saved: $263.00 (53%)

It is a little time consuming right now, as I am trying to juggle my list and coupons…but I am going to get a binder, and photo album inserts to put my coupons in so I can see them and stuff. I’m sure I will get faster the more I get used to it. I am actually having fun shopping. It really is like this game, getting the cheapest prices, and stocking up on stuff for cheap.

Yesterday, I kept teasing Jeremy and saying “Isn’t this fun?” and he was sarcastically saying “Oh yeah, baby! This is great!”.

Then we walked out and he looked on his receipt, and said “Okay this is kinda fun!” LOL!

The best is I bring him, and the coupons I have double of, I give him the doubles, and have him check out with the double products so we get the double coupons, and I don’t have to make 2 trips. It cracks me up though watching him…this tattooed guy using coupons. LOL!

Now, I’m a freak and want a deep freezer. LOL! I think in a month or so, I am going to get one, once my stockpile grows and I am spending less at the store for food all together.

Here’s my stockpile for 1 full week:

So, this year I’m actually talking to my Madre again, so I get to participate in Mother’s Day this year. Except I have no damn clue what to get her. My mom is the type that shops for herself ALL the time. She has all the things she would want. I remember a few years ago, my sister and I were at the Mall and I smelled this perfume, and I told her to smell it because it totally smelled like my Mom. So, we bought it together and my Mom looooved it. I need to find something like that. I know she likes necklaces, so I could try to find her one. I refuse to send flowers, because I find them to be a waste of money, unless you get them on sale at the grocery store or something. Ha! So, what to get, what to get?

I just went to Joann’s to get a pattern for a hat, and some material for the hat. Of course I went and looked at the clearenced Halloween stuff. 70% off. So, I got a couple more stakes with the black glittery jack o’ lanterns. I already had 8 I think. Those were only like $1.49. then I got 10 smaller black iron stakes to hang things from like carved turnips for next year. Those were only $.44. Then they had wigs on sale. So, I figured I’d buy 4 and try to sale them on eBay next year. They were only like $4.00 at the most. Then I saw this haunted house lamp post, and the post is crooked, and it lights up. Well it was normally $39.99, and I got it for $11.99.

Then I couldn’t find any patterns for hats. Then I saw Vogue patterns on sale for $3.99, so I went to find a vogue Pattern Book, and foudn exactly the type of hat I wanted. So got 2 patterns, and my fabric was on sale, and I got soem cute buttons. So, yeah $69.00 later. ACK! I didn’t plan on spending that much money, and with Chase’s b-day fastly approaching I shouldn’t have.

I got all cool stuff though, and I couldn’t beat the prices.

I’ve never been a big fan of Trader Joe’s. I’ve never found anything there that I loved and couldn’t get at the grocery store. When I lived in Orange County, there was a Henry’s right down the street, which is somewhat like Trader Joe’s, but bigger. It had all the Organic, health food stuff, but more selection. It was like 4 times the size of Trader Joe’s. Anyway, we went to Trader Joe’s last week, to check it out again, and Jeremy wanted some wasabi peas. We found frozen fish there, and it was really cheap. About $4 a lb. So we bought Tuna steaks, and it looked like there was a marinade all over the tuna. We cooked it up last night for dinner with some wild rice, and broccoli. Oh My God!!! That tuna was the BEST thing I have eaten in a very long time. Like it was to die for yummy. So I went grocery shopping today, and we stopped by TJ’s, and bought 3 more Tuna Steaks and also a Halibet which looks like it has the same marinade on it which was lemony and devine. My mouth is seriously watering right now thinkng about it.

I just took my time eating it last night, and savoring every bite I took. You really should run out and buy some, because it is THAT good! God, I can’t wait for tomorrow to make it for dinner!

My two favorite things in the world right now are those Tuna Steaks and my Bare Mineral’s make-up.

Man, I have been the biggest slacker with blogging and doing Pay Per Post. It sucks too. I mean I love having money in my paypal. I’m going to be really sad when I don’t have money coming in for like 3 weeks. I get sad when I won’t have anything coming in for over a week. I’ve been spend happy lately too, and buying stuff left and right. Luckily, I still have a little bit of restraint in my purchasing. I still have to really rethink buying things, especially if it is over $50. I’m kinda cheap, and $50 or over to me is a lot of money, and I have to really want it.

There is this clock at Target that I want. It’s 20″ and is $85. I really, really want it. I’ve actually wanted it for about a year now. A couple days ago, I was |this close| to buying it. Like I picked it up and was about to put it in my cart…then I called my bank. Then I put it back. Ha! I figured I was going to be getting $85 in my paypal the next day, so I decided to wait. I’m sick of spending all my paypal money though, and having nothing in there…so I don’t know if I will get it. I actually have $50 of my b-day money left, and I think I will go buy it if I can save that until I get money again.

Why is buying stuff so fun???
